About this Scan

An ultrasound of the whole abdomen uses high-frequency sound waves to capture real-time images of organs such as the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, and kidneys. It is safe, painless, and does not involve radiation.

Preparation & Guidelines

• Fasting for 6-8 hours is required.
• Drink 4-6 glasses of water 1 hour before the test to ensure a full bladder.
