Preparation & Guidelines

• Carry your doctor's prescription and a valid government ID.
• Fasting for 4-6 hours is recommended for clear visualization of the gallbladder and abdominal organs.
• Drink plenty of water (about 1 litre) 1 hour before the scan and hold your urine so your bladder is full.
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
