Preparation & Guidelines

• Carry your doctor's prescription and a valid government ID.
• Please inform the technician if you have any metallic implants, pacemakers, or suffer from claustrophobia.
• Remove all metal objects, jewelry, hairpins, and watches before the scan.
• If contrast is needed, you may be asked to fast for 4-6 hours prior to the scan.
• You may be asked to change into a hospital gown.
• Please bring your recent Kidney Function Test (Creatinine/KFT) report if a contrast MRI is planned.
